Hey, desperate times= desperate measures. *Shrug* Thankfully you don't have to be a member in order to comment, so *nudge nudge* you can comment too. ;)

Yeah, I know, I'm hopeless, heh.

Did you know I've got over 3,000 songs on my iPod? Crazy, huh? Only thanks to my Aunt, Just Ordinary on this site, heh. She's a music junkie and now I'm one too. The fledgling of music! *Snickers*

*Straight face* Hey everybody whose reading this. I'm just chilling. I'm a bit frustrated though, because you may or may not know, I update my Site, more of a blog, "The Shapeshifter's Puzzle", weekly, with a piece of my short stories I've been working on. I'm frustrated because I have only gotten comments from my Aunt. I've got a little over 100 vies, but no comments.

That's frustrated. It really is disheartening. I'm hoping that I can actually, you know, get some comments eventually... Even write a journal entry on DeviantArt about my discouragement, and asked that people look at it. Desperate, indeed, I am.

Eh, Other than that, I'm just chilling. Doing laundry. Missing a good friend of mine. But all is well. I might update later with some goodies, some color, if I can find stuff. Perhaps I'll share my picture gallery (it's basically pictures by other people that I like.) Yeah, maybe I'll post that later tonight. ^_^ Gotta find all the images first.

Ah, as I promised, Dear Reader, I am back. I am currently writing the second half of my update for my site, but I decided to come and write up those "Editing Tips" I spoke of yesterday with yah.

For anybody who edits things, or wants to know how to edit things themselves with more accuracy, I'm about to share. Some of my sources are "Grammar Girl," from a podcast on iTunes, my English Teachers, and old books that I can hardly remember the names of.

1st: Read your work aloud to yourself
2nd: Read parts of it individually
3rd: Highlight the different sections, and read over three or four times
4th: Walk away for awhile, maybe a week, take a bit of a vacation, don't think about what you're editing, and then come back. The whole thing will seem a little less familiar to you.
5th: And the last, best tip I can offer you, because this works the best for me, is to read it BACKWARDS!

Try combining these 5 too. I've found that 1 and 5 combined work the best for me. If you've got your own, feel free to share here. :)

Either way, I'm in a better mood, and don't feel like brooding! Marching band was a lot better today, and I was surprised (and pleased!) to find out that I have tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday off. No marching band. That means more time for practicing. x_X

Gotta update my Wordpress Blog tomorrow. I hope people are actually reading it. *Shrug* I've yet to get comments, but I'll keep writing anyways. I do it for myself regardless. LOLZ.

Haven't been working on much nor reading much. Trying to read the books I've bought and kept, but after finishing Harry Potter 7 (It was BRILLIANT!) I just don't feel like reading anything.

Pulling myself out of some nasty poetry block. Serves me right though: If I don't use it I don't deserve to have it. That's okay, I've been reading a lot of Logey's Poetry on DeviantArt. Inspirational stuff; I'd really recommend reading it for those of you who enjoy poetry.

I guess I'll go on recommending things now. Authors, perhaps. Some of my favorites are: Dean Koontz (Odd Thomas!, Stephen King ("The Dark Tower" series!), and the new and up-coming, Stephenie Meyer (Twilight, New Moon, and soon to follow, Eclipse!). So yeah, I'd suggest those if yah got nothing to read.

Online stuff? Other than Logey's poetry? Aww... Dear Reader, you're really wanting me to go get you all the links and stuff? (Teela is hit in the head by one of the readers who walk away grumbling about how Teela assumes everything. x3) Sure, why not... Gimme a sec...

Man, I want to go on listing more, but I'm sick of typing "A href=" now... x_X Type, type, type... darned HTML. But at least now I'm familiar with the code! Sheesh. They pay people to design websites? Those people must be getting paid a LOT.

Either way, yes, I'm not paralyzed in my writing. My poetry may be a little on the slow side right now, but my stories and fiction works aren't. So all is well, I suppose. Trying to get my fat, lazy--- wait, can he hear me?--- poetry muse to show himself. Wherever he... or she is. I've forgotten what they look like. I ought to draw a picture. Perhaps I will.

I'm 'sposed to be finishing a picture for someone on DeviantArt. And a story for someone else... a story I've yet to start, and it's been months. I recently messages them, though they told me to take my time... x_X Now I feel bad.

Well, it's getting late. I gotta finish the other half of my updates tomorrow... And I'll stop by here tomorrow too, because I feel like sharing some recent Self-Editing tricks I learned.

Went to marching band today. Wasn't anything special. Just made me realize how alone I feel sometimes. Made me think about how I hate groups. Oh well, I won't dwell, because you've got better things to do than have me depress you. X_x

I'm going to start being a little more personalized on this journal. Meaning, that, I'm going to put up pictures that I've drawn, maybe a poem here or there, and stuff like that. Stuff I like.

Instead of just talking your ears off, you know? Don't you get tired of that? I know I sure do.


So as a start, my first order of operations is, now that I've gotten myself set up on Wordpress and have time for Livejournal, to put up a new background and get everything set up properly.

What is properly, exactly? The way I like it, in short. ;) Hehehe.

It's late. I'm tired. Just updated my story on Wordpress, and quite frankly, I'm exhausted! But I'll tell yah what's going on.

First off, as per usual, I'm reading WAAYYY too much. Got the new Harry Potter book, in short. Second, I'm writing for a fanfiction site that I won't happen to give the name of seeing as I don't need everyone follooowwwiinnngg me there. O_O. Stalkers. JK. Thirdly, it's just past one 'o clock, and I got most of what I wanted to get done... well, done.

Good friend 'O mine came over yesterday. ^_^ And I should be getting a saxophone tomorrow... Thanks to my band teacher. Good thing he was kind about my situation. X_X No sax, again, in short.

All is well, and I'm busy, but never too busy to drop the readers of this semi-empty blog a simple hello, and that I'm alive, just working in the coal mines of my mind.
